STAR – Software tools for analysis and research
STAR has been used extensively to develop solutions for DRDC and is now being used by other organizations and government departments. STAR is extremely modular and flexible allowing researchers to quickly prototype new capability and concepts. Much of STAR uses the same software libraries as Adeos, providing a natural link between research and operations. Some of the key features and components of STAR are:
- A cross-platform point-and-click data analysis tool that is used for monitoring live data and for post-analysis.
- A suite of signal processing applications that can be run from the command line or tied together in scripts to quickly prototype new processing options and perform batch processing of large data sets.
- A suite of manual and automated data analysis modules and applications that contain a wide range of capability along with the option to quickly prototype new advancements for detailed testing and refinement.
Measured data collected during CFAV Quest Cruise Q325 and analyzed using automated processing in STAR.
